its funny because its proven that people who smoke? weed have the same addiction patterns as avid gamers

  • Chease69 says:

yeah? great job but not all the people can afford to pay 1gram per day

I miss WoW lol I’m too busy in school to play two games and I chose SWTOR over WoW. I love Star Wars, sorry Blizz :p I can still walk away from a game to do what needs to be done. It’s not the games that are the problem here people… If there? were no games, these poor souls would find something else to latch on to in order to “escape”.

  • TheraynDK says:

    I see? no problem here

    I tried WOW
I wanted to like it. but it was the? most boring repetitive and unoriginal game. Keep in mind that I love turn based rpg’s

    WOW has no soul.

The reason some call it “addicting” is because they’re weak to addictions not because WoW. I’m sure if you popped 1 pill you’d? say “first and last day” and two months later you’ll probably die from a Pill Addiction. So when you are addicted to something that is neverending such as WoW you can make a new toon and gear it anytime you want it can be destructive if you’re weak to addictions.

I am not saying it wasn’t my fault. I am not blaming anyone, I’m just saying that it is not that easy to realize you have a problem with the game. Besides, going to classes and doing your homework makes? the 80% of the thing?? I don’t know in wich level are you son, but things don’t go like that in university. Doing your homework and attending classes can make 40% as much, you have to work really hard and go find extra stuff outside, or else you are dead.

  • Dario Kustura says:

And whos fault was that? Yours, and yours only. If it would be the fault of the game, then everybody should have bad grades. Get an alarm clock, or use the one in game, set it to a specific time, play until then, and after that go learn. I got great grades. Just listen in class and do your homework right, you learn 80% of? things that way. Sports and music are hobbies, just like games. Who says you cant do all three? You can even listen to music while playing or jogging.

These last year I was addicted to World of Warcraft, and I didn’t know it until today. My academic results had gone worst and worst, and I couldn’t figure out why. It was because I spent more time playing than studying, and I couldn’t even realize. Luckily, my guild now torn apart,? so now I have no one to play with, wich means I got suddenly “disconnected” and now I see how many things I’ve gave up doing (sports, music..I felt so identificated with the piano thing) for playing WoW.
