Why Do Liberals Want Tobacco Products Banned While Simultaneously Advocating the Legalization of Hard Drugs?
Question by John Q. American: Why do liberals want tobacco products banned while simultaneously advocating the legalization of hard drugs?
If libs really cared about the health of the masses & the environment, as they always disingenuously claim, why don’t they publicly hector crack dealers in the same manner that they occasionally hector cigarette smokers?

No body wants them banned, just don’t smoke them in public places. It would be the same for hard drugs.
I have never seen any mainstream liberal platform calling for the ban of tobacco products…maybe in your own mind?
Where is your proof?
I think you should smoke 4 packs a day.
Smoke up Johnny.
Because cigarettes are bad for us! Marijuana is good for you so lets legalize it!
LOL Every time I read about legalizing pot I think about all the adds with the egg frying, (your brain on pot) LOL
Now they want to legalize pot and take away tobacco.
Strange.
You are splitting generalizations about two completely different groups of Liberals.
One group, which we will call “Nanny Liberals”, want to ban cigarettes AND keep drugs illegal.
The other group, which we will call “Other Liberals”. are ok with cigarettes and pro-legalization of some, relatively safe drugs (Cannabis and Psilocybin Mushrooms, for example).
I fall into the second group. I smoke cigarettes and support the decriminalization of Cannabis and Mushrooms.
My civics teacher, also a Liberal, falls into the first group. She is anti-smoking and anti-legalization.
Whom ever would advocate legalization of hard drugs while banning tobacco is not operating on all cylinders in my opinion. That just doesn’t make sense. I am a non smoker, however my people have used tobacco as a scared herb in our ceremonies long before Columbus came here. ANy thing that is abused causes problems.
