Where Can I Find Primary Evidence for Oncogene Addiction?

Question by F D: Where can I find primary evidence for oncogene addiction?
I’m doing an intel project on oncogene addiction, and for my presentation for my intel class, i need primary data. I can’t find any primary data on the effectiveness of oncogene addiction online, because I can’t get access to any useful papers. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me where to get a paper with primary data.

GAMBLING BOOM in the UK – More Addicts than ever! Social Cost of Gambling – GAMBLING BOOM in the UK – More Addicts than ever! Social Cost of Gambling There may be as many as 250000 problem gamblers in the UK. The anticipation and thrill of gambling creates a natural high that can become addictive. The internet has made gambling more accessible, allowing more and more people to do it from home. This is thought to be one of the reasons for the increase in the number of women gamblers. There’s also a link between gambling and alcohol abuse. Many gambling addicts are also addicted to alcohol. Rates of depression and attempted suicide among gambling addicts are around double the national average. Gambling addicts are also more likely to go to prison as a result of criminal activity. This is almost entirely theft and fraud. There’s evidence that gambling can be successfully treated in the same way as other addictions. Cognitive behavioural therapy usually has the best results. Specialised addiction services that focus mainly on substance misuse often also treat gambling problems. They use the same techniques to treat gambling addictions that they use to treat substance misuse. “We should be regulating advertisements and educating punters of the risks of compulsive gambling. Every player should be fully aware of the consequences of winning or losing a game,” he said on Italian TV last week. In spite of the grinding recession and unemployment above 9 per cent, Italy’s gambling industry is booming. While large casinos and racetracks have been losing

that is a tough one…. most primary journals require subscription or they charge a heavy price per article. Your school might have a subscription to such journals though. If not, here is a medical journal that I think is mostly free..

You can try this, Public Library of Science…

Articles are free, open access. Otherwise your best bet is to get to a library, it might have to be a university library, I’m not sure how other libraries are with journal subscriptions.

    Good luck!

casinos don’t give a fuck, they don’t care if your homeless and betting your last £ on a horse . They are all horrible cunts. The government don’t ban them because they get hundreds of millions in taxes. The only way to beat casinos AND bookies is DON’T GAMBLE, then they can’t? operate as a business! if you stop then YOU’VE WON.

im 20 and im doing some gambling as well. I feel like it’s becoming a problem and is destroying my life. However, so far I earned few hundreds and lost of all just recently. This happened by betting on basketball and most of the bets were so so close to become successful and this makes me really confused. I make the correct bets but? I lose only by a small margin and I don’t know if I should continue gambling

I am a compulsive gambler – and i believe that the many many Governments MUST know the scale of this problem. People are? desperate for a quick win. Online gambling is HUGE, debt and payday loan companies make it easier and faster than ever to amount huge debts. All online entertainment (youtube included to a degree) uses up a lot of our time……. time better spent elsewhere…..

Australia is the same…search Nick Xenophon..(Australian Independent Senator), and his massive battle? against the poker machine system and the Federal Government.
$12 billion per year lost in poker machines in Australia. 100k people full blown problem gamblers…another 200k at risk of addiction. 40% of profits derived from addicted gamblers.
Too much of a “nice little earner” to be ever tackled in a healthy way by the Governments.
