Forgive me ALL —-I meant to type”…it SHOULD? be a war on alcohol”.

  • jenna4468 says:

wow……war on DRUGS? nonono. it ashouls be a WAR ON ALCOHOL. Alcohol kills more individuals than ANY drug. If you disagree, look it up. Why not? educate yourself?

  • 1Husseini says:

I said weed is not bad as they want you do think it’s, shouldn’t be illegal, and gave the terrorism example that it’s like the “terrorism treat” after 911, it’s not as bad as they want you to think it’s. Then you come talking about the Mexican border, the only thing I could guess is that you were comparing it with terrorism.

I was talking about the problems with weed, she’s not even addictive. It’s not even bad, and they want you to think it’ll? kill you, therefore should be illegal.

  • extremepietbh says:

This is a false dichotomy. He can believe you have sovereignty over your own body and conciousness and want to pay into universal healthcare too, that isn’t a problem with his argument, it’s not even to do? with his argument.

  • archmage5245 says:

What exactly is the US doing that is terrorist to me? and I never? said anything about terrorism, i said that the war on drugs is a serious issue, not something we’re just blowing out of proportion. what are you jumping all over me for?

  • archmage5245 says:

The problem is that folks under the influence of drugs? harm others. I mean what do you say to three kids down here where i live that got sawed up by their parents who decided to try acid that night? “Well sorry kiddos your parents have a right to do whatever they want to their own bodies.” I understand where your coming from, but more people than just the user get screwed up by drugs. How can the government justify giving it’s people something that screws up them, and everyone around them?

  • ItsTheWooo says:

    i like the term “intercapitalists”.?

  • ItsTheWooo says:

I have to say I expected stupid to come out? of Russel Brand. Imagine my shock when passionately argued smart resulted?

  • Redweaver says:

And how much is the cost to the taxpayer for jailing non-violent? drug offenders, ie. the stoner that just smokes a joint, eats a twinkie and takes a nap. I’d rather pay for the healthcare, which is humane, than for imprisonment, which is IMO doesn’t fit the crime. Simple drug use should be punishable by a simple fine like a parking ticket. Your “I’m too selfish to take care of my fellow human beings” attitude is killing our species.

  • Asher535 says:

I really wish Russell Brand wouldn’t make me kinda agree with the? mail on sunday.

  • 1Husseini says:

Are you kidding? You want to compare the border of Mexico with Gaza Strip? 911 was a tragedy, still don’t justify what ur government do, talking about terrorism 10000 times everyday at anytime and mixed with any subject.

Terrorism is what your government is doing with his own citizens, like you.

Terrorism is what? they did with a blonde girl from U.S, that was on vacation in Indonesia when the Tsunami tragedy happened, and the first thing she tought was that it was a “terrorist attack”.

  • RolandsSmoked says:

I’m high on weed. I chose to take it by food, to relax and easy pain on my hurting ankles. Should i better be in jail for that??

  • CanIRunWithYou says:

It’s a valid point, however? I wonder if that can be offset by taxation. Here in the UK, smoking costs the NHS about £5.5bn a year (according to the anti-smoking lobby’s statistics) and the tobacco industry raises about £8.5bn a year in excise and £3bn in VAT, so it more than pays for itself. I’m sure the same could be done with other drugs.

  • RolandsSmoked says:

Stop war on drugs!? make peace

  • Michael Cronin says:

“Burn the wi…uhhh…. I? mean beware the comm….oh no… I mean arrest the druggies!!!”

  • Michael Cronin says:

Ahhhh… Common sense, how? I’ve missed you.

  • Michael Cronin says:

Isn’t the outlawing of drugs fascism? It’s absurd. Why can’t people be free to explore their own conciousness? Why is there even a debate? If? we had an open psychedellic culture our problems would practically solve themselves due to an explosion of free, original thought combined with modern technology. Instead we keep this miracle illegal and trivialize our brave explorers. When will people wake up and start the party? Please… there is so much to learn.

  • Michael Cronin says:

It’s only weird if you buy into the lies. People who are for the war on? drugs either have an agenda or are just dumb.
