I do agree, ok, Methadone is addictive, for sure, but I know methadone addicts who work, are healthy, and are functioning well….and methadone helps them. You would never know they were on Methadone, there is no way of telling, apart from the small? pupils of the eyes.

It is a very sad thing that Methadone remains illegal in Russia, many more Heroin addicts would be cured if they knew they had the option of a Methadone detox instead of the agony of going cold turkey, and going through severe Opiate withdrawal. Many people view Methadona as drug replacement, but it is not, it is a way of weening the addict off of Opiates? in a controlled clinical environment. Going cold turkey is very stressful and damaging to the body. I hope Russia wakes up soon to approve it
