There is a Syrian civil war, in terms of deaths, just south of the US
    border. But nobody really cares.

The US is the largest market for illegal substances.

Very interesting TED talk about the Mexican Drug Cartels. They are a very
sophisticated business operation … ponder that!?

From the TED talks, why America’s *”War on Drugs”* focus will always fail.
Capitalism & Competition. The only way is to determine the nature and
sources of demand, and develop policies that reduce & eliminate demand.

Interesting talk on the drug trade.?

Interesting perspective on drug cartels and their operations. A much needed
    serious and analytic view.

Wow just fascinating. The business of and how a cartel is ran is
impeccable. Mostly driven by a business model that can only succeed if it
can circumvent the law. Which of course brings violence and many other
    horrible acts.

Their income is certainly a driving force here. 50 billion is nothing to
    laugh at.?

The producer sells wholesale, and it’s gets quickly resold, people dropping
out get quickly replaced because the profit ratio is extremely high. Add
poverty. So where is the genius in this? Is this guy trying to glamourize
    cartells? This is dumb.

I knew some pretty hardcore criminals. I was kinda excited to get in their
personal circles beause my preconcept also came from this dumb prol myth
that they are actually ‘pretty darn intelligent’, that’s why they are still
alive and out of jail. Meeting them in person quickly shatters this wannabe
    wearing-glassess-make-ppl-think-me-thesmartguy hipster-brat fantasy. They
were some of the dumbest people I ever saw, their asset was basically was
just their lack of restraint. This guy need to grow up and grow out his
    world wrestling federation-comic book world.

I’d say something like making most of the world rely on money that you can
inflate at will is ‘genius’, and this is bullhsit.?

Excellent Ted Talk. Isn’t it interesting what we can learn if we listen to
how it actually is rather than our propagandists dictates on what is
desirable for us to believe. ?

In at least two places, you use info on the Masonic Knights Templar when
talking about the criminal organization. This is shoddy research and
damaging to Freemasonry which, despite a poor image in pop culture, is a
    pretty good organization.?

the submarines are made by colombians not mexicans.search youtube colombian
narco subs.most of the subs make their way to mexico because they already
have set up the routes and pay VERY well to secure their dominance of the
west coast market compared to other independent narcs that buy at the
cheapest price to maximize their profit.its a win win for both as less heat
on the colombian side and less competition in the usa for the mexicans?

The war on drugs is a failure. Prohibition only makes the wrong people
wealthy, and sucks the money tight out of the tax payer’s pocket.
Regulation and treatment haven’t been given a shot. It’s about time. Our
