I HAD DEALT WITH A DRUG ADDICTION FOR 15 YEARS AND IT WAS ONLY BECAUSE MY? LORD AND SAVIOR THAT I NOW AM CLEAN AND FREE, NOT BECAUSE OF A 12 STEP OR A REHAB BUT ONLY ONLY BECAUSE OF MY GOD, HE PULLED ME FROM THE PIT AND ESTABLISHED MY FEET ON SOLID GROUND AND HAS MADE ME BEGIN TO WALK MY PATH, OBEDIENCE AND SELF CONTROL IS KEY TO KEEPING THE DEVIL AT BAY

i dont think that was the general idea of the comment. i think? what was meant was that asides the teaching, there was some comfort in the how sharp she looked, ready for business…;-D

Now when Joyce Meyer comes on stage to teach, she is wearing a? plan top and pants, so I almost never watch her TV show anymore. I have also noticed over the past 10 years that since she is dressing down, so are the people that go out to hear her. The last time, I went to watch her speak live found out that I was one of the only persons wearing a church suit and tie.

She looks older here, I don’t feel like me? myself and i today.. all about me, I mean all about God

  • Louis Edwards says:

Joyce Meyers is a great role model not only for hundreds of thousands of women, but for men also. Her style is natural, and filled with? everyday practical experiences that her congregation loves. Joyce Meyers teaches how to handle your challenges. She herself was abused as a child, but was able to rise up to be a respected pastor. Being female never kept her back from becoming a success story.

  • Finn Welch says:

Is your point that you would not have gotten? up had she looked shabby? Women in the 90’s had been being torn away from being lady like. Look what we have now in 2013….where are any women nurturing anyone or anything?

I have about 8 videos of these “Classic” Joyce Meyer TV shows. Wish, I had taped a lot more back in the day. I never get tired of watching these classic shows hearing her present a practical bible message and at the same time in very pretty church? outfits always wearing stylist dresses and skirt suits.

Why arent wives being? taught by the Holy Spirit and their husbands? “let women keep quiet in the church…and ask? their husbands at home”

Beware husbands and wives for you may be weakening ur marriage by deviating from Gods plan

God told me? a long time ago that He called her to do what she’s doing. I think that it was because people had been trying to get me to doubt her calling. She is who she says she is. And I am thankful that she has let God use her to help so many.

(continued) reach out to so many people, if she’d lose time by using an public airplane. Not to mention all the people who would recognize her and the traffic her presence would cause. She wouldn’t get done so much and be way? less productive.
I’m not sayin she dont uses the Jet for privat purposes, if she does, thats not right and God will deal with her. But right now, we dont know if she only uses it to fly to conferences. So all Im sayin is, lets not jump too fast into conclusions

  • GodLovesYouDeeply says:

(continued…) it would be suboptimal if she doesnt use that jet.
God obviously put Joyce in a position and gave her the call to reach? out to as many people as possible and win them for christ.Of course she can reach out for them via TV and Internet but also via Live-conferences.I’m not sure but I somewhere heard she does about 60 conferences a year so she has to be on many different places and has a very busy schedule.Solely for logistic reasons she wouldnt be able to do so many conferences and

  • GodLovesYouDeeply says:

I think you are right to a certain degree but dont forget that imitating the actions of Jesus without the principle that is behind, is just as wrong as not trying to be like Jesus at all.
For instance, if someone choses to wear sandals and not to fly a private jet but is full of self-righteousness, he is of no good to anybody.
If? someone who is in a position where he can reach out to many people to make them find christ and one of the means to do that is the privat jet, then (continued…)

I love Joyce, she preaches so well. Whoever doesn’t like what she says can go and throw themselves in the Indian Ocean! U don’t have to criticize the Lord’s anointed so openly. nkt!?

  • LISA PRINCE says:

im looking at all the posts im reading here.the predominant theme seems to be this..i dont like the MESSENGER so i dont have to listen to the MESSAGE. the enemy LOVES to rope us in with that one. so he has us look for things having nothing to do with the message so we dont have to listen to it. i m hearing nothing in the message about money or prosperity doctrine. thses are things we do when we? want to keep doing what were doing but ned to justify it thru the “flaws” of others. end of story.
