I am a 17 year old boy, and I have had a shopping addiction problem sense I was 14 and was old enough to work… I just realized that I have spent almost $ 50,000 in the almost 4 years I have worked and I could have saved that money to go to collage 🙁 … any advise?

Try and keep yourself busy with another hobby and ask a parent to help manage your money.

You need to evaluate what you are spending your money on, how much you really need that item. You also need to set up a budget giving yourself a certain amount of spending money with the balance going into savings and keeping it there. You might stop window shopping or online shopping as well to keep from tempting yourself.
i was the same way. until i couldn’t get credit cards anymore. then i couldn’t buy anything
i don’t think anyone could tell you what to do and you listen.
alot of people tried to help me. i think its something you just have to learn on your own. just as i did.
you are going to just have to do it on your own. im sorry.
find sumthing else dat u luv, and only spend money on stuff u need. if u hav to spend ur money, leave ur money at home
do NOT impulse buy. realize you like a lot of things. so when you find something you like, tell yourself ‘if i still want this next week, i’ll come back and get it.’ chances are you will forget about it, and if you don’t forget – go back and get it (if it’s not still there, it wasn’t meant for you). this concept won’t cure your problem, but it will help you realize the difference between “want” and “need”.
