Depending on prior use, the longer the stay the better your results. A minimum of 4 weeks will allow completion of a basic 28-day drug rehab in indicating an Early from chemical abuse. Depending on last day of use, 2 two weeks you should feel and report a noticeable change in alcohol and drug cravings along with a fresh appearance. Oftentimes, most “strong” withdrawal symptoms’ will begin to subside during this time. for more info call to the counselor (866) 786-4960

There is some correlation between how long people get treatment for and how long they stay sober. I would say though that it is Quality vs Quantity. You can go to a crappy treatment center for 6 months and not get any self work done or go to a top notch treatment center for one month and get significantly better. The follow up care is what is important but anyone will tell you that 12 step meetings are the best form of treatment after you have gotten out of treatment. I and many of my friends went to Cottonwood Tucson http://www.cottonwooddetucson.com and it saved our lives! They literally have the best therapists that hep you work on the issues and feelings that lead you to drink and use. You leave there with tools to make your life better and to not even want a drug or drink.
This is a hotly debated question and the answer is different for everybody. A drug addiction takes years to form, so it is unreasonable to think that in 2 weeks or even 4 weeks you will be “cured.” 45 days is a good amount of time, because you are able to create new habits. It takes about 6 weeks to create a new habit, and to get rid of an old bad habit like a drug or alcohol addiction. You have the rest of your life to live, so don’t look at your rehab stay in terms of how quickly can you get out. Focus on yourself and you will be well served for a future of drug free living.
