Question by Jennifer S: How can I send someone to drug rehab that doesn’t want to go? Florida has the Baker Act. I live in Arkansas?
I need to know what steps are nessesary to get them there. Does it have to be immediet family or can it be anyone. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Prove to a judge that he is not mentally able to care for himself and/or is a danger to himself or the community and ask the court to have him committed.

    Please! more We need specific information to help you guys out, and every question I have looked at is so incomplete, it is impossible to answer. How old is this person, Are you a relative, friend, etc? Do they live with you? Do you see what I mean? Every state is different.

    in CA only if someone poses a threat to themself or someone else can they be admitted and then they almost have to be allowed to leave at their own asking.
