although I have the same issue, you just have to realize that there is only one solution : to stop what you’re doing and change your ways. Nobody can help you do that, except yourself. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and stop feeling sorry for yourself. Thats how I’ve lost weight in the past.

Sorry if i’m being hard on you, but its better than having somebody pity you for your hardships. That’s life.

Hunny, everyone has their up’s and their downs. People have their strengths and their weaknesses. Food addiction is an illness and it’s mind over matter meaning you’re going to eat because it’s there, it’s a comfort. I know because I do it right now as well, but I have issues that I’m dealing with right now of being molested for 6 years and it was suppressed and it’s now surfaced. Instead of turning to alcohol, drugs or sex; food is my drug. It’s always there and it doesn’t judge or say anything back.

Did something happen to you that you may be repressing? You should talk to a therapist if that’s the case because my psychotherapist is helping me deal with the molest but also with my diet. There are also Over Eaters Anonymous meetings like there are AA meetings and I know a woman who is going to it; she said she tried every single diet around and for the first time she’s actually losing weight, becoming healthy and since she’s able to talk and share the same experiences with people she’s extremely receptive to this path.

I wish you the best in your endevours because to face them head on forces you to become completely vulnerable and that’s really hard, but know it’s in you somewhere and it’s ok, forget the people that tell you differently.
