I agree with you both. It’s not right when the fasd child has to live with the consequences of the mothers actions. I have no respect for mothers who drink and rip away that persons future as? a result of there thoughtlessness.

Every day is a depressing nightmare and most days are bad for me because of this senseless suffering I’m forced to endure. If I had it my way I would pass a law? that pregnant women would be jailed for 2 years and be forced to give up they’re child as a result to never hear from them ever again. No body truly knows what f.a.s.d. is all about except for those who suffer from it. Still the common biases out there affect or even destroy us as well as the false profiling and is unnessasary.

I also have many other problems associated with fetal alcohol effect and I’m extremely self conscious by it because I don’t fit into society very easily and I’m often wrongfully judged because of it. People don’t know what it’s like to suffer until they have lived my life; I can honestly say that out of every disability, illness, disorder of mind and body F.A.S.D. takes the cake because there is no cure and no treatment exists.?

  • heather davidson says:

crx122, I agree with you 100%. I was born with fetal alcohol affect and it’s a daily struggle for me. I’m also singled out and targeted for abusers and people who treat me badly and assassinate? my character because of having this. It’s not my fault. I’m a survivor not defeated by this.

  • Poopy Diaper says:

I have no sympathy for people that drink alcohol and then give birth to children who end up having fetal alcohol syndrome. This disorder? is easily preventable by simply not drinking alcohol. It’s horrible how these alcoholics don’t realize that their children are going to be stuck with this disorder for their entire lives. And these alcoholics are the only ones to blame. All drugs and alcohol can make a person pathetic and unproductive. Prohibition was the best law that ever existed.

Thank you for proving my? point!

  • crx122 says:

Right, they might be alcoholics, but they choose to carry that child. If you’re going to be some drugged up/drunk loser, why even bother going through a pregnancy and? ruining a child’s life? I don’t think anyone is “self righteous” for talking about how these moms are vile, filthy garbage, they are RIGHT. We all know right from wrong, addicted or not. These moms feel there cheap, short lived highs are worth more than the entire life of a child. I’d love to see them tortured to death honestly.

lace alcohol with contraceptives? or maybe just…

STOP ALL FORMS OF CHILD ABUSE ALL TOGETHER?
Why is that such a hard thing for us humans to do???! Just stop sexually molesting them! stop mentally and physically abusing them! WHY IS THAT SO HARD? We seemingly CANT STOP IT, YET CONTINUE TO? POP OUT MORE VICTIMS!

SOMEONE HAS TO DO SOMETHING HERE.

@uvparfy you are correct. It was tough when I was working out hard and no muscles were coming in my thin body. But i just had to laugh its what i’ve been wanting for years I went? straight out and got the whole set. I found this video here => bit.ly/MVfMCB?=eilxed

  • Willobrooks says:

Some of you are obnoxiously self righteous. Most mothers of children born with fas don’t take their first drink during pregnancy. They’re already full blown alcoholics. Do you think they want a disabled child? Alcoholism is a powerful addiction. I’m not excusing their actions but how is a guilt ridden mother useful to her child? I applaud the moms who embrace sobriety and raise their kids with love and patience instead of wallowing in self pity. Stop acting like infallible? snobs.

please note that alot of parents where unaware of the pregnancy prior to drinking lots of alcohol…i dont think its fair to say this is a 100% reason to band alcohol or punish parents but mores so 100% reason to educate people on the bad behaviors that we do and how it effects our unborn…this would include 2nd /3rd hand smoking? etc.
