Ritalin for me took me to a very dark and depressing place. After I saw a doctor in Holland and he showed me the side effects. Some being fear, paranoia, angst and anxiety amongst many more. I realised that drug fucked up my relations with family, friends and society in general. The other effects for.me were respitory issues I was always out breath so easily and the migranes. I swear it felt like I had a tumour. And my mental? growth was stunted big time. Just a garbage drug imo.

He was also given Risperdal which is given to patients with psychotic disorders including schizophrenia. At age 11? he was diagnosed with high blood pressure though it doesn’t run in the family, he became aggressive and sometimes physically violent and built a tolerance to the meds so they kept upping the doses on both medications. He now suffers from paranoia, depression, sleep disorder, agoraphobia and fears human relationships.

I was highly addicted to this medication after I stopped taking it therapeutically, I began purchasing it and abusing it and moved on to other? stimulants. As a young teenager I also suffered from a number of side effects from this medication including depression which led to self mutilation though I never had a history of depression and once I got over my addiction never had another episode of depression. My little brother was also put on this medication at 5 years old and is very damaged.

  • JuanCarlos C says:

I totally agree with you…Ritalin totally stimulates creativity…the artistic side you never knew you had comes out…downside is the moodiness and the comes down can be sucky…I guess it should? be evaluated on an individual basis and weigh the pros/cons

  • BrokenSyntheticWings says:

People should really think before going on Ritilan.. I had some of the more severe side affects of this drug.. I never ate, lost so much weight to the point where I was underweight. I couldn’t compete in sports? because it would send my already high heart rate into overdrive..

  • Kristján Arnar Jóhannsson says:

You have nothing to be afraid of if you take your medication as instructed.?

  • paenitet7nullum says:

i agree with you i took it from a tyoung age til 18 and i? am almost daily struggling with life even if nothing bad is happening. ive learned to control it after i learned more about the drug talked to former classmates when i was 18 they took it away and i lead a secret drug alcohol addiction for years up until 30 im clean now but i will say i lack confidence sober ive always been told that me sober is unacceptable and yes on ritalin your are NOT sober

  • blah dude says:

its very bad i took it from a young age? and struggled with drug addictions up until now im 30 graduated in 2000 alll of my classmates who were on ritalin struggle with drug and alcohol addiction. please mothers dont listen to these people at your schools it wont help them. the true message you tell your child is your behavior is unacceptable by societies standards when you are sober and off pills coke weed alcohol ext. you will never have confidence. your whole life i still struggle

  • Edwin Potter says:

I used to take this. Thank God it wasn’t for long, because i was like most other 3 grader’s my age: hyperactive,? a little unfocused after recess, and a very jittery when it came to 3 a clock during the school day.

  • NoSnipes says:

dude im? scared i just got diagnosed with ADD and i have to take this. how bad is it?

  • Fanchus says:

A psychiatrist told me this 14 years later after? taking ritalin. Everything is true

  • Fanchus says:

Well, to start it was a drug to make my attention better and make me “behave better”, but it seems that they haven’t published a real side effect of ritalin used over time which? is the attrition of primary brain cortex which stimulates the way you think and process information, your attention over time after the use of Ritalin may be worse and your character will be altered, which leads to daily bad mood and temperness, but in the other hand it stimulates your creativity

  • Fanchus says:

    Ritalin ruined my life?

  • oljerzbastard says:
