Drug Treatment Centers Ohio: Why Private Drug Treatment Centers Are Creating a New Wave of Change

Keith Cameron and Nancy Waters (names changed) story should inspire many to break from the shackles of drug addiction and opt for rehabilitation to save their lives. A reputable private drug treatment center in Ohio came to the rescue of this dance instructor. Keith used to teach dance at a popular dance academy few kilometers away from Ohio. He loved his job and the money that he made. He was the best dance instructors in the academy and many girls and boys would come to his class to learn to shake a leg and groove their body. He became attracted to one of the girls, Nancy, who had joined his dance class, some months ago. Though he didn’t believe in mixing business with pleasure, he found himself get drawn to the lissome beauty. Soon they became dating and life was wonderful for Keith.

Nancy introduced him to four of her friends and soon they began to hang out together as a group. Nancy loved partying and she would smoke, drink and even do drugs as did her gang; Keith, the teetotaler also began to get swayed in to the temptation. He took to drinking and drugs, especially cocaine. He began to develop increased tolerance towards his addiction and began to take more and more drugs. Soon his addiction affected his job and he could not perform at his job. As a result, he was removed from work. The very dance academy and the students who looked up to him, chose to ignore him when they would meet him on the street in doped, sizzled manner. As for Nancy, she was on a different trip altogether and was not able to control her as well.

Both of them had become very weak and in a matter of three months, look wasted and tired. A friend of Nancy took her to task and told her that she should straighten her life, if not for herself; then at least for the sake of her boyfriend who loved her very much. Once they saw a movie in which a couple much in love, die due to drug addiction. Nancy was moved to tears and was very apologetic to Keith for ruining his life. She told Keith that they should get treatment at the earliest because both of them were going nowhere with the addiction. Keith saw sense and asked a friend if there was some treatment for their drug addiction. He told her to get treatment from a good private drug treatment center.

The rehabilitation did put a dent in their finances but both of them looked it as an investment for their future. It was one of the best decisions they had made as a couple. Both of them were treated for dual addiction. They opted for inpatient treatment where they went through detox, individual therapy, group therapy and counseling. After three months of treatment, both of them became healthy and sober once again. The glow on Nancy’s face returned and Keith began to appear confident and fresh again. Keith took up work at another dance academy while Nancy got work as a model. They left their druggie friends’ company and began to concentrate on their personal lives and career. Two of the people in their group died while the couple told the other two in the group to join a private drug treatment center if they wanted to save their lives, which they did. Both of them married a year later and now are happy and contemplating starting a small dance academy in the near future.
