Yes, It was very hard. After deciding to quit, I still messed up a few times. I can tell you it does get easier. Remember the thing that caused you to have the urge to quit. It’s one of the hardest things I ever had to go through in my life, but by far one of the most rewarding in the end. Good luck!
yes! theres a million of us with the same problem but there is hope!! it’s virtually impossible to quit on your own and stay quit….i’d suggest checkin yourself into detox and they will give you the right treatment and lead you in the direction…once you’re there it’s up to you to keep doing what they told you or go back. Look up an NA/AA meeting online and go to the next one…tell someone who looks like they know what they are talking about what you are going through, and they can help you. ask them about detox…you don’t have to live like this forever! The world of addiction is a straight up biitch…However, there is freedom if you want it. I love you
Many people struggle with the same problems as you are, but as unicorn rainbow goldfish baybee said, there is hope and the best bet is probably to check yourself into a detox or recovery center. They will be able to the proper treatment and put you on the right path to being clean. A family member of mine was addicted to drugs, and he checked himself into Stepping Stone Center for Recovery, and it changed his life.
Hey. If you would consider food a drug (which it is because it alters the body), I struggled with an overeating addiction for many years. No matter how much I ate, it was never enough. I couldn’t stop thinking about food, and it interfered with every single aspect of my life. Once I realized that this binging was completely out of hand, I did some research on the internet and found information on rehab centers for overeating disorders, so I checked myself in and in a very short period I was fully recovered. I learned how to plan out my diet so that I wouldn’t always be hungry, learned the right foods, and learned to control my urges. So, if you want my opinion, rehab is the way to go because you can recover in a safe, professional, monitored environment.
