Amy Winehouse death tribute 23-07-2011 – will you still love me tomorrow – Sad about Amy Winehouse’s death I covered a song she redid a few years back, rest in peace, will you still love me tomorrow RIP 23-07-2011 LONDON: Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse was found dead at her flat in north London, police said. She was 27 years old. The Grammy award-winning soul singer struggled with well-documented drink and drug addictions. Her death is being treated as unexplained. “Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square shortly before 4:05 pm (local time) today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased,” a police statement said. “On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. “Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.” London Ambulance Service had been called to the flat at 3:54 pm (1454 GMT) and sent two ambulances. Winehouse rocketed to fame after winning five Grammy awards off the back of her 2006 second album “Back to Black” and the hit single “Rehab”. In the run-up to her live return, Winehouse spent a week at an addiction treatment clinic in London, reportedly at the suggestion of her father, Mitch, over concerns that she was drinking too much before her shows. But Winehouse pulled out of her European comeback tour following a disastrous opening performance in Serbia on June 18. She was booed at the performance in Belgrade, as she appeared to be too drunk to sing. Some

She was never my type, but she was quite? attractive when she started, then she turned into a rancid looking skank and then died of abusing her body. I call that pissing your big break up the wall totally. The media tends to sideline people who died this way over time, no retrospectives no anniversary programmes, they are quietly forgotten. She CHOSE to take drugs and abuse alcohol.

Beautiful interpretation. Are you singing to a recording? Or just a little delay in? the sound due to recording? I loved your kind, respectful and insightful words. You obviously have felt her passing in much the same way I have. Beautifully expressed. You have amazing talent and charisma. That’s what makes a singer a star. Can’t wait to see what you do next. Salut!

  • Agnes Ingarra says:

yup she did a while back…..I totally agree with you, although? who will ever really know why they let her perform during her last moments.

  • SaxManDanDotCom says:

Did Amy Winehouse cover this tune?
I believe the promoters conned Amy into performing and gave her drugs? as an incentive. The promoters did not want to lose their huge investments, they did rather see a drugged out Amy to get paid. Amy’s liberal attitude unfortunately took her life. Her tattoos were part of drug culture not art. Let us ban the use of illegal dangerous drugs. Anyone taking them belongs in an isolation cell for protection.
