First of all pot isn’t addicting, second it’s none of your business!!! Has your close friend asked you for help? For sure DO NOT get some government agency involved! If you want to keep this friendship, then it’s best you mind your own business and let your friend live their live as they choose!

First off is it really right for you to intervene? I tried to help a friend of mine, seriously pretty much my best friend, and I lost her for about 2 years, she didn’t finish school and she moved away from her house I’m pretty sure because of it. I didn’t talk to her and she didn’t talk to me, eventually she came back and apologized and said I was right. Don’t try to get them to stop if its just to your standards “morally correct” but if they are destroying themselves and their future just try to be there for them when it all falls down which it always does.

This is something the person has to choose to stop doing on their own. My brother has smoked for years and no amount of my disapproval or anyone else’s has changed that, not even getting into trouble with the law. I agree with the other folks, you should definitely not get government or any other agency involved.
