What Are Your Thought on Rick Scotts Veto?

Question by : What are your thought on Rick Scotts veto?
Earlier today Rick Scott (Republican Governor of Florida) vetoed a bill which would have allowed for the transfer of non-violent drug addicts from prisons to treatment centers after they had served a minimum of half of the sentence and if they had been recomended by the prison for good behavior. His logic was that it would be a grave misjustice to the victims of these non-violent drug addicts to allow them treatment for their addiction.

Both the Republicans and Democrats in the florida congress had passed the bill in a rare show of bipartisanship.
Edit: I made a mistake on my original post. Rick Scott vetoed the bill on Friday last week, not earlier today. I appologize for the mistake.
