We do, its just at the time every known news source in the country was
selling the war. I bought into it because no one was really trying to
question it so it seemed there was no question. I wish I knew then what I
know now, but its too late. Trust me, there are LOTS of questions being
    asked now

the guy may have made some mistakes, but any one can tell his heart was in
the right place. War time will bring things you never imagined without
being there to expereince. So any smuck that criticizes for hesitating in
doing anything in the job doesn’t have the whole scene.

This really bothers me for our veterans and soldiers. They are risking
their lives and I know they see things that no one should ever experience.
They should not have to deal with this…at all. I pray that he will get a
    job and a home.

This guys went awol from the army in leiu of being court marshalled under
chapter 10, he also during the processing of his paperwork WAIVED all VA
benefits. This guy is lucky he wasnt charged with desertion during time of
war. Everyone is just getting the poor me story from this kid but he signed
away his right to treatment at the VA. He should be living at FT
    Leavenworth Discipilnary Barracks.

Americans never question the policies of their country, dragging these 18yr
olds to unjust wars.. that’s too bad..

Could be his psychological problems from the war are beyond his families
ability to cope with. The same problems have likely made employment
difficult for him as well. He is looking for a hand up, not a hand out.
Some people misunderstand that concept, but hopefully it’s catching on.
Teach this young man a trade and get him busy in life will help him more
then saying, “Thanks for your service, but tough luck now that you are out
I don’t have to support you anymore.’

So sad the our soldiers are treated when they return home after putting
their lives on the line and those who have given their lives for our
    country and our freedom.
