Parent Ambassador Dale Woolery speaks about the power to give and receive help – Dale Woolery, Associate Director at the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy, believes that addiction is both a treatable and preventable disease. Being both a parent and grandparent, he has first-hand knowledge of the many resources available to parents/caregivers, whether it’s on how to talk to kids about drugs, how to intervene in their drug use, or how to find treatment.     Drug addiction would not be nearly as big an issue if state and government legalized or decriminalized the? use of less harmful drugs such as marijuana.
