    Also, great? interview!

  • MrCaptaincolbertfan says:

I love this guy. He’s a great public servant, and one of the few voices of American social democracy. And I do admire Gary Johnson, but it needs to be recognized that his economic views are insane. He doesn’t have an ideological leg to stand on. Go back to FDR-style policies if you want to end these economic troubles; this? “FairTax” nonsense will only benefit the wealthy at the expense of the middle class. But at least libertarians are voting their conscience, instead of cynical tactical voting.

  • joshwhoisthatguy says:

I am voting Gary Johnson and will actively campaign for him, trying to get 5%. I just realize that there is 0 chance, at least this? time.

  • blueshinai says:

If more people vote for the third party candidate then that candidate may win. It has happened before and will happen again. Your 0% figure is false. You don’t know the future and I argue you are participating in a self fulfilling prophecy. You are right as long as you and others believe we can’t win.As soon as people believe we can win, we likely will in? fact win.Admit the possibility. That’s the 1st step. Looking ahead is good but if the goal isn’t to WIN then count me out. #UPSET2012 (twitter)

  • joshwhoisthatguy says:

Achieving 5% is the first step towards that goal. I’m? sorry, but there is 0 chance a third party can win at this point. You have to look ahead.

  • blueshinai says:

The goal should be to win. That can be accomplished by forming a? coalition and having well publicized discussions and debates, uniting the oppressed to cooperate where there’s agreement and tolerating in areas of disagreement.
#UPSET2012 (twitter hash tag, please use it)

  • blueshinai says:

The reason 3rd party candidates are perceived to “not stand a chance” is because of the defeatist self-fulfilling prophecy that you are repeating. Unaffiliated voters now outnumber both republicans and democrats. Think about it. Consider being part of the “We WILL win eventually” crowd and join in on creating #UPSET2012 What have you got to lose? An alliance of the oppressed, a? runoff contest, a coalition candidate, a movement to build something real and break this ridiculous lock on power.

  • joshwhoisthatguy says:

A strong finish by Johnson will deliver a big boost to the Libertarians under terms of state election law, potentially making it easier for the party’s candidates to secure a place on the ballot for governor, the Legislature, Congress and other offices starting in 2014.

Libertarians have a chance at becoming a “major political party”? in if Johnson wins at least? 5 percent of the total vote in the November general election.

  • joshwhoisthatguy says:

But he has? a very realistic chance of getting 5%.

  • blueshinai says:

    Glad you liked? it!

  • blueshinai says:

Unaffiliated voters now outnumber d’s and r’s by the millions. The major obstacle is defeatist negative self fullfilling prophecy like what you just spouted. When that is replaced by the idea that we WILL win eventually, maybe even pull an upset in 2012, the possibility will become reality. I ask you to stop.? It’s not helpful. Change your mind, change the world!

  • blueshinai says:

I really feel it must be the goal to WIN this time and a coalition is the only way to do that. Please spread the idea of a contest among challengers and a? united front can be born of all disenchanted with the D’s and R’s. A coalition of all minorities cooperating where they agree and tolerating where they disagree can set a good example on fair election procedure and present a major obstacle to Romney and Obama THIS YEAR. Pass it on!

  • blueshinai says:

I’m working to raise the profiles of both good men. They are strong and with our help, we can take down Obama and Romney. Reach as many people as possible as soon as possible and maybe we can just yet pull an upset. Maybe the 3rd parties and unaffiliated could come together JUST ONCE and organize a runoff contest to select a coalition candidate to take on the two party monster stranglehold on power. Videos like this and what YOU do to help will make all the difference. Thank you for all you? do!

  • blueshinai says:

I like him as well as Gary Johnson and hope they can come together with the people and we can form an alliance to take? down the “War on Drugs: A War on People” once and for all!

  • blueshinai says:

I just became a state contact for the Fully Informed Jury Association and just got a nice packet via snail mail full of good literature and had a good night a few days ago talking about these issues with intelligent people. I look forward to using this literature? well. Rocky speaks well on this topic. He is a good candidate.
