No difference about what state the offense was in.

I don’t think a paraphenalia charge would exclude you from getting a CCW in Ohio; the exclusion reads “A person who has been convicted or pleaded guilty to an offense involving the illegal possession, use, sale, administration, distribution, or trafficking in any drug of abuse or has been adjudicated a delinquent child for committing an act that would be an offense involving the illegal possession, use, sale, administration, distribution, or trafficking in any drug of abuse if committed by an adult.” It mentions “drug of abuse” and not anything about parapenalia.

Easiest thing is to go into the sheriff’s office where you live and ask their CCW unit the question to know for sure.

I hope not. Someone who got a misdemeanor drug charge has no respect for the rule of law and should not be carrying a gun around.
